  • You have reached a blog that has "Zip", that's me Sue Zipkin. This is the place where I will share my latest design news and other hopefully interesting stuff. I am a mom, wife, friend, artist, designer,illustrator, cook, and sometimes cleaner. I have been designing artwork for products for thousands of years ( more like 3 decades ). I am blessed to be able to share my art with the world and I thank everyone who has been kind enough to purchase products with my designs on them. I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams.

Another mosaic masterpiece by Linda!!!

Linda has created a third mosaic vase from the "Sweet Shoppe collection"..... I love it!!  What is amazing is that she was able to keep the actual plate design in tact!!   She must have the patience of a saint.  You can see more of Linda's fabulous work at flickr. Linda  shared something very interesting: "I decided to take a picture of the 3 vases against a different backdrop, and put some fabric out and set up the vases on it, and then I couldn't keep my 2 cats off of it!   It was a riot.  They were like "hey - thanks - this is for us?" WAY too much help from Sidney and Sophie!!!"
