This past fall I went a little overboard on buying bulbs online. I was like a kid in a candy store. I bought so many bulbs that when the time came to plant them I realized I did not have enough spaces in my garden to plant. I love gardening, however I know what I like visually but on a scientific level I am lost most of the time.
The season for planting bulbs was passing and I did not get all my bulbs into the ground, the ones I did get into the ground I don't even know what I planted and where, interesting things are starting to pop up in the garden, baby irises and crocus, lots of purple( I love purple so I did have something in mind).
I spoke to my friend Beth about my dilemma who's an expert at gardening and knows a lot about everything. I think she learned a lot from Mary. She told me what to do, I'm not sure I got it exactly right because I think the bulbs were supposed to start blooming in the winter?
Spring is off to a slow start this year so it's still exciting to be able to have indoor bulbs blooming. Today I had a wonderful surprise in the morning my first forced Tulip.
