  • You have reached a blog that has "Zip", that's me Sue Zipkin. This is the place where I will share my latest design news and other hopefully interesting stuff. I am a mom, wife, friend, artist, designer,illustrator, cook, and sometimes cleaner. I have been designing artwork for products for thousands of years ( more like 3 decades ). I am blessed to be able to share my art with the world and I thank everyone who has been kind enough to purchase products with my designs on them. I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams.

Gratitude

  I have been blessed to connect with a lovely generous person named Nancy Saporta. A few years ago she contacted me looking for some of my products, she was  so kind, sweet and supportive about my artwork, she touched my heart.   Nancy's words reminded me of another reason I love what I do, bringing joy to others is so rewarding.    Recently she contacted me looking for some Tea Garden tableware, she was filled with more kind words. I asked if I could share her words on my blog and she sent me this. I am so grateful to you Nancy!!

 "I love Sue Zipkin for so many reasons. I use her dishes EVERYDAY because of the joy it brings me. I have never had company that did not comment on the dishes. I can feel her happy spirit in every piece she does. To make so many things and each one has so much feeling in it. If everyone in the world had a little Sue Zipin in their life it would be a better world. How could anyone not love the happiness it brings? I search the internet looking for pieces and they are so hard to get. I know I could never sell any of the things I have. I am starting to collect the new tea set and I am very excited about it. I have looked at so many different artists and nobody puts sunshine and love in their work like Sue Zipkin. Thank you Sue for all you do to make this a better world. I will be behind you to support you in anyway I can."
